이더리움 업그레이드 기대감으로 가격상승세

- 이더리움이 PoW에서 PoS로 전환되는 Merge 이벤트가 6월22일로 예상

- 두 개의 계층(Layer)가 병합되며 Proof of Stake로 전환

- 기존 Ethereum Network 대비 약 99.5% 에너지 소모량 절감

- 한편, 기존 PoW방식은 Difficulity Bomb을 통해서 난이도를 높여 실질적인 채굴불가능 상태로 전환

- 거래 속도, 수수료 인하 등도 기대되는데, 이더리움 스테이킹(Staking)을 통한 수익율도 증가예상*

* 비트코인, 이더리움 PoW 방식으로 스테이킹에 대한 보상획득이 어려움

The Ethereum merge will see the blockchain transition from a proof-of-work validation model to a proof-of-stake one.
The merge will reduce Ethereum's energy consumption by around 99.5%.
Ethereum's price is already up over 30% in two weeks as speculation about the merge grows.
