1. 인도, 디지털 자산 과세

 - 인도정부가 모든 디지털 자산에 대하여 30%의 세율을 적용키로 발표

 - 공제 등이 없으며, 암호화폐부터 NFT, Defi 등에도 적용될 것으로 보임

 - 인도정부의 CBDC 도입추진에 방해될 수 있는 암호화폐 시장을, 높은 세율을 통해서 억제하려는 모습

 

• India plans to tax cryptocurrency transactions at a rate of 30%.
• This is at par with the highest income tax slab applicable to individuals with an income in excess of ₹15 lakh per annum.
• “The 30% rate of tax and restriction to set-off losses is a very bold move in discouraging transactions in crypto,” Ritesh Kumar, Partner at IndusLaw, told Business Insider.

 - '22.2.1자 공시에 따르면 BTC 660개를 추가매수 (평단가 $37,865)

 - 전체 보유량은 125,051BTC이며 평단가는 $30,200

As of January 31, 2022, the Company held approximately 125,051 bitcoins that were acquired at an aggregate purchase price of $3.78 billion and an average purchase price of approximately $30,200 per bitcoin, inclusive of fees and expenses

 

 

3. 메타, 암호화폐 디엠(DM) 실버게이트에 매각

 - 메타는 DM의 지적재산권 등 자산을 실버게이트 캐피탈 앞으로 매각

 - 빅브라더와 같이 데이터를 통제하는 메타(Meta)가 자체 암호화폐를 통해서 금융시스템까지 지배하려는 상황에 대해 미국 정부가 반대하여 사업이 난항을 겪었음
