  1.  '21년은 비트코인 생태계에 무척이나 기념비적인 한해이다. 암호화폐 거래소인 Coinbase가 성공적으로 나스닥에 상장하였으며, 엘살바도르는 비트코인을 달러와 함께 법정통화로 인정하였다. 스퀘어, 페이팔은 암호화폐를 통한 결제서비스를 선보였으며, 이제 Coinbase가 비트코인을 담보로 잡고 미국 달러화를 대출해주는 프로그램을 도입한다.

  점차, 비트코인은 제도권내 주류 자산의 하나로 인정받아 현실의 삶속에 깊숙이 침투하고 있다.

• The loans will be issued with an annual percentage rate of 8%, and borrowers won’t be required to show credit checks, Coinbase said.
• Customers can obtain the cash using their PayPal or bank accounts. They will need to make minimum $10 monthly interest payments, and Coinbase is offering flexible repayment schedules.

 

  2. 다른 트렌드로 메타버스와 NFT가 있는데, 이중 블록체인 기반의 NFT는 엔터테인먼트 업계에 새로운 수익창출 수단으로 기대되고 있다. 지속가능한 수익창출 모델(BM)을 발굴하기 위해서 업계의 선두업체들이 노력중인 것으로 보이는 데, 이중 BTS 소속사인 하이브가 국내 최대 암호화폐 거래소인 업비트의 대주주 두나무와 손잡고 조인트벤처를 설립할 예정이다.

  BTS와 같은 가수, 연예 엔터테인먼트는 노동투입이 많은 비즈니스로 본질적으로 지적자본을 통한 성장에 한계가 존재하여 왔다. NFT가 노동투입형 비즈니스에서 자본생산성이 높은 비즈니스로 탈바꿈할 기회를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

• The joint venture will create NFT photocards related to the K-pop stars, which will eventually be traded on Hybe’s app Weverse, the chairman of the two firms said at a briefing early on Thursday. Weverse is an app for content and communication between artists and fans.
