1. UkraineDAO 설립, Web3.0 시대의 행동주의

 - 행동주의자 Alona Shevchenko가 우크라이나 사람들을 돕기 위해서 UkraineDAO를 설립

 - 푸틴의 우크라이나 침략으로 고통받는 사람들을 위해서 암호화폐로 기부금을 모금

 - 기부금은 Tolokonnikova의 우크라이나 국기NFT 구입에 사용되며, NFT 판매대금이 Return Alive Foundation과 NGO Proliska로 전달될 예정

 - 기존 금융시스템을 통한 국제송금이면, 이러한 자금모금 행위가 용이치 않으며 자금흐름에 대해서도 감시할 수 없으나, 블록체인 기반으로 투명하게 공개되며 누구나 얼마가 모금되고 사용되는 지 알수있다.

 - 참고로 우크라이나에는 러시아의 2014년 크림반도 침략이후로 Come Back Alive라는 NGO가 운영되고 있다. 이 NGO는 군인들에게 방탄조끼 등을 구입하여 제공하고 있는 자선 NGO이다. 우크라이나 사람들이 얼마나 오랫동안 외부의 침략과 분쟁으로 고통받아 왔는지 알수 있다.

The idea for Ukraine DAO came from Alona Shevchenko, a Ukrainian activist living in England. Shevchenko says that she had hoped the Ukraine DAO would not be needed and that tensions in the region would deescalate. "I started reaching out to my friends, and they connected me with Nadya of Pussy Riot and other PleasrDAO people who I knew already." .

"Our goal is to raise funds to donate to Ukrainian civilian organizations who help those suffering from the war that Putin started in Ukraine," Pussy Riot tweeted. "We'll be buying an NFT of the Ukrainian flag."

Tolokonnikova tells Decrypt she pushed for using the Ukrainian flag "because it's not about any specific artists or aesthetics—it's about something much bigger than all of us, it's a pure gesture of solidarity."

According to Tolokonnikova, the drop will consist of 10,000 Ukrainian flag NFTs minted on Ethereum, with all proceeds benefiting the Return Alive Foundation and NGO Proliska. In addition, a unique NFT—also of the flag—will be released to allow larger contributors to participate.

 

2. Military Group Receives Bitcoin

- NGO뿐 아니라, 우크라이나 군부 또한 암호화폐로 기부를 받고 있다.

- 약 $40,000 BTC가 해당 기관에 기부되었다. 비트코인이 전쟁중에 신속하게 자금을 모금할 수 있는 수단(자유로운 가치교환 네트워크)임을 다시 한번 확인시켜 줬다.

- 군사력이 비대칭적인 상황에서 우크라이나 정부군은 외부로 도움을 요청하고 연합하여 대응하는 방법밖에 없는 상황이다. 서방국가의 지도자들이 방관한다면, 양심있는 평화주의자들이 나서는 수밖에 없다.
